Pride Productions- An introduction to PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) We will be implementing PBIS in the fall at the Middle School. Wondering what that is?? Join our group to find out! We need some awesome students who are willing to do some acting and demonstrating the behaviors that go along with PBIS. The video we make will be shown to all the students this fall on our first day of school!

Tennis 101 - PM

We will learn the basics of tennis….the rules, how to play, and how to keep score.  We will be outside, weather permitting, to enjoy the sunshine and the last week of school.  Please dress in athletic wear with tennis shoes and please bring a racket if you have one.  Otherwise tennis rackets and balls will be provided.

The Real Bridge Building set is designed to assist students in their study of the history, function, structural design, geometry and strength of bridges. They will also investigate concepts related to the physical properties of materials and their application in the placement, design, and construction of bridges.

Current Issues in Sports - AM

Students will learn about many factors impacting different sports in today’s world. Class is discussion based and includes brief readings. Topics include college eligibility, Title IX, Greatest Ever, Mascot name changes, sportsmanship, playoff systems, Instant replay, Steroids, College Pay, Media obligations, what qualifies as a sport (golf, nascar, wwe), and etc.
